In 1952, John I. Haas, Inc., one of the world's leading hop growers, published this fabulous book showcasing its famous hop farms in the Yakima Valley of Washington State. It is a beautifully-illustrated, oversized volume depicting every phase of hop culture and processing at the farms. The book's hard cover is cleverly bound entirely in hopsack -- the burlap-like material traditionally used to bail hops. CONDITION: Very Good. Only the lightest signs of use. A bit of appropriate age-toning on some pages. Most pages have a small and subtle wrinkle on the upper right corner. Page 51 has a 1-inch tear at bottom (see pic). Otherwise a very sound copy.
